What's the deal?
The bmi American Express card will credit you with 20,000 destination miles when you open an account and spend £250 within the first 90 days.
That's enough for 2 return flights to bmi's 'zone 1' countries (including the UK, Austria, Belgium, Germany, France, Ireland and Switzerland) or a business class return to 'zone 2' countries such as Italy, Portugal, Russia and Sweden.
You can choose from flights to 38 different countries using your 20,000 destination miles. However, as you gain automatic membership to the 'diamond club' (said to be the UK's most generous frequent flyer scheme) when you become a BMI cardholder you also can also earn yourself flights to more exotic locations simply by spending on your card.
As an added bonus the card currently offers 3 months interest free on new purchases and 12 months interest free on balance transfers.
What's the catch?
Fees and charges will still be applicable and bookings are subject to availability.
