Make huge savings on the cost of your train ticket when you book legs of your journey separately.

What's the deal?
You can buy train tickets for less by splitting your train journey into two separate parts.
This means you can book exactly the same journey, with the same changes and connections, but at a much lower price.
For example, a ticket from Manchester to Edinburgh would usually cost £150, but if instead you purchase separate tickets from Manchester to York and then from York to Edinburgh, you can travel exactly the same journey for £92.20.
You don't have to change trains - simply split your journey at any station your train calls at and you'll make savings.
How do I benefit?
First find out where to split your ticket by searching for your journey on www.splitfare.co.uk.
Then, simply book the separate train tickets direct through your local train station. You'll be given two separate tickets, for example Manchester to York and York to Edinburgh. Simply take these on your train journey to travel exactly as usual.
You can also book your separate tickets through www.thetrainline.com, but this will be subject to a £2 booking fee.
Conditions
Make sure to only split your journey at a station you know your train is calling at.
