You can now get the seasonal flu vaccination from your nearest supermarket or high street pharmacy if you're not eligible for a free flu jab from your GP.
Supermarkets and pharmacies including Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Boots, Superdrug and Lloyds Pharmacy are all offering the shot.
However, before you head to your nearest pharmacy and pay for a flu jab, you should check if you're eligible for a free flu shot through the NHS.
The free vaccines are reserved for people deemed to be at a greater risk and should be available from late September. If you fall into one of the following categories you may be eligible for a free flu vaccine:
If you're not entitled for a free vaccine then simply head to your nearest pharmacy and ask for the vaccine.
The Asda flu jab is currently the cheapest at just £7 per shot, with prices at other pharmacies anywhere up to £12.99.

my granddaughter lives in london N8 she is going back to uni and i have been telling her for week to get flu jab and she tried two days in crouch end and no one has the vaccine even though she would pay. what sort of country is this?
