O2 has launched a new free Wi-Fi network open to everyone in the UK.

What's the deal?
You will soon be able to surf the web, on your laptop, smartphone or tablet at thousands of locations across the UK for free.
O2's new free Wi-Fi network will be open to everyone in the UK - even if they are not O2 customers - and will be in partnership with restaurants, shops and other retailers.
The network will be expanded to over 450 locations across the UK by 2013, doubling the size of O2's existing Wi-Fi coverage.
How do I benefit?
O2 will be expanding its free Wi-Fi network over the next 2 years, so while there won't be a big jump in free Wi-Fi immediately you should start to notice more places advertising it in the future.
If you are in a location which already advertises free O2 Wi-Fi, you can connect using your computer, smart phone or tablet to the network for free.
You can find your nearest O2 wireless hotspot using the O2 hotspot finder .
