Sainsbury's storm into the supermarket price wars by launching their Brand Match on 13,000 items.
What's the deal?
On Wednesday 12th October, 2011 Sainsbury's are launching Sainsbury's Brand Match across all of their UK stores.
This will effectively price match Asda and Tesco prices for 13,000 branded goods (including those on special offer) giving you the opportunity to save.
How do I benefit?
Whenever you spend over £20 in a single transaction, or purchase at least one branded grocery item (from the 13,000 included in the promotion), you'll qualify for the Sainsbury's Brand Match.
It works by automatically checking every purchase you make at the till to see if any branded items are available for less at either Tesco or Asda.
If they are you'll be given a coupon for an amount that covers the difference.
You can then use these coupons to get money off your next Sainsbury's shop.
Expiry
Brand Match coupons will be valid for 2 weeks after issue and are valid in all Sainsbury's stores.
Conditions
The Brand Match will only apply to purchases totalling more than £20 or including at least one comparable branded item.
It is not currently valid online and in some smaller Sainsbury's stores.
You can redeem multiple Brand Match coupons in a single transaction providing the coupon values are different.
