Discuss '£5 Off Tesco Voucher (when you spend £40+)'

Just shopped there and to my surprise I got the £5 off a £40.00 spend.

It would seem that Tesco are attempting to match the offers that ASDA are offering, as in the past they lost out to ASDA and other stores by not attempting to beat them at their own game.

There are also some good deals on their children's toys and food stuffs, which are great for Christmas.

bet they cannot beat three boxes of chocs for ten pounds that ASDA are doing..........+ no spend..

This is effectively £5 off £80 not £40. Inadequate

Just to say if you spend over £80 a week for your weekly Tesco shop anyway it would take a little more time but you could always split it into 2 just over £40 spends and then you would get 2 £5 vouchers off your next week's £80 shop but again split into 2 thus saving you £10 in all.

You have to tell the checkout to watch the running total, otherwise as happened to me despite saying what I wanted she just carried on and I lost £5.
